Cusheon Lake Christmas Carolling Canoe Caravan 2017 and more

There are such wonderful events on Salt Spring this time of year. We are excited to announce our own Cusheon Lake tradition – the Christmas Carol Canoe Caravan – will be happening Saturday December 17! Email us today to book your cabin or boat. More details below but we’ll meet at 1 pm at the public dock, and then go caroling dock to dock around the lake. If you will be joining in the afterglow, please bring a finger food appetizer or beverage to share. RSVP here.

Other holiday highlights on Salt Spring include the “Santa Ship”, Christmas Bird Count and “Merry Monday.” More details here.

More details about Christmas Carol Canoe Caravan:

Tis the Season to be Jolly, so what better way than to sing some carols followed by a warming beverage and appetizers with your fellow neighbours.

What: Cusheon Lake Caroling Caravan of boats, canoes & kayaks to circumnavigate the lake.

Who: You and anyone who is a Lover of Cusheon Lake. Singers, Crooners and Croakers All Welcome!

No experience necessary.

Where: Boaters meet at Cusheon Lake dock off of Cusheon Lake Road, Other Carolers meet us on your

own dock. We’ll end up at the Cusheon Lake Resort, 171 Natalie Lane

When: Saturday Dec 16, 1: 00 Boat launching, 1:15 Singing starts, 2:15 finish singing and meet at

Cusheon Lake Resort for refreshments, 4:00 Finish

Why: For fun and good cheer.

Join in on your boat, on your dock or in your home. If you would like to reserve/borrow a boat please

Ways to participate:

1. If you have your own boat meet at the Public or Resort dock or in the middle of the lake.

2. If you live lakeside come and join in or listen from your dock or home. Please consider inviting

neighbours and friends from across or down the road to join you on this afternoon of good will and

sharing. Please also let us know if you want the Caravan to visit your dock.

3. If you don’t live lakeside and are shy or aren’t feeling #2 there’s also the public beach to watch and join

in from or the resort dock.

4. If you will be joining in the afterglow, please bring a finger food appetizer or beverage to share.

5. Please dress warmly. Bring life jackets and any extra if you have them.
